Cookie Clicker is a game about making an absurd amount of cookies. To help you in this endeavor, you will recruit a wide variety of helpful cookie makers, like friendly Grandmas, Farms, Factories, and otherworldly Portals. Cookie Clicker was originally released in 2013, but has been very actively developed since then.
This game feels like how I can only imagine Prometheus feels. As the world continues to move, his sacrifice of bringing fire from the underworld to humans against the will of Zeus is only forgotten. Whilst he is continuously chastised for the actions that aided the small creations he molded out of clay, the humans leave him behind as a part of history that will slowly fade into the past. I am Prometheus. I went against the Gods in order to download this game. I am now forever trapped to click the cookie, each click is merely a small boost to my final goal that will release me from my cookie clicking prison.
